The production was directed and written by Carlos Portugal (with writing credits also going to Charo Toledo). Gladise Jiminez has a daughter, Simone Andrea Kanan (born 2001), with former co-star on The Bold and the Beautiful (1987), Sean Kanan. Simone lives with her Gladise, but Sean is reportedly very much a part of their lives.
