J. Geils Band released the album Bloodshot in 1973 which reached #10 on the Billboard 200 chart and #17 in Canada. They had some success with the albums Ladies Invited in 1973, Nightmares…and Other Tales from the Vinyl Jungle in 1974, Hotline in 1975, Monkey Island in 1977, Sanctuary in 1978, and Love Stinks in 1980. The band released the album Freeze-Frame in 1981 which reached # 1in the US and Canada. They released the album You’re Getting’ Even While I’m Getting’ Odd in 1984. Their single “Centerfold” reached #1 in the US, Canada, and Australia and they also had success with the single “Freeze-Frame”.
