He founded Mesa Petroleum in 1956. Under Pickens’ watchful eye, Mesa grew quickly and eventually became one of the largest independent oil companies in the world. Not surprisingly, once again Kobe Bryant (whose Lakers got booted from the playoffs last week) is the highest paid NBA player in the league. The rest of the top 10 is completely different from last year. For example, last year’s second highest player Rashard Lewis is no longer even in the top 50. Last year Rashard made $22.1 million, this year he is making $1.3 million. The same is also true for last year’s #3 player Tim Duncan whose $9 million 2013 salary is not enough to crack the top 50 this year....

Calabrese, who is also known as “The Maestro”, has won dozens of awards throughout his bartending career, including “World’s Best Drink Selection 2012” and “International Cognac Person of the Year 2009”. According to CNN, the number of Chinese tourists has more than doubled, to 120 million people over the last five years – meaning that now one in every 10 international travelers comes from China.
